I do not know if it's the same for USDM .. but you guys can go and try ..

This is JDM factory fitted alarm
driver door open
Wiper mist switch activate and hold for 10 sec

You will hear a long beep .. wait for it to end .. KEEP HOLDING ON TO THE WIPER MIST ..

Using your FAST or FOB .. press the unlock button, you should hear 2 beeps (1 beep disarm, 2 beeps arm)

Factory alarm is armed

Once you press the lock key, you'll hear the warning countdown to arm (10sec) ..

if you unlock the door without using the FOB .. you'll hear the warning beep again .. if you don't disarm the alarm within 5 sec .. the lights and horns will go off ..

Again .. this is on JDM cars .. not sure if it works on USDM .. there's a blinker light near the hazard switch that blinks when the alarm is armed..

I had an Astrostart RSS-5224 installed in mine. I also had this setup as an alarm. I don't have the fast system though. But so far is works great.

I have a x MR with fast key. I had a viper 2 way installed with remote start. It works good and has a built in turbo timer. The only downside is that when you remote start the car you have to step on the break when you get into the car and re start it because the fast key system. My Infiniti fx has the same problem otherwise someone can just hop in turn the key and take off.

Oh and PS. you have to hide a key in the car. I went to the dealer and had another key coded but not cut. And i gave that to the alarm guy.

Let me know if anyone needs a good alarm install shop. Super stealth installs only!

I have an AstroFlex Alarm with the AstroStart Remote Starter as well. I have the Fast Key system. It works great. I do have to carry two remotes around. The remote starter requires holding the brake and pulling the ebrake twice before I shut the car off and while the doors are closed to engage. When I start it I have to get in and put the key in the ignition to prevent the car from turning off or I can just restart it. The alarm works great as it is a full 2way with all the features available. The remotes conflict when they are together so I keep them separated and it there is no problem. All and all I am happy with my setup. The remote start comes in real handy with this Chicago weather right now.

answer to all your problems

the bypass that works with the FAST Key system is

DEI 1101t This allows you to have a remote start system and still use your FAST key system.

When funds roll around I am putting this in my car. I have been doing the research to find the correct bypass as well, I read up on it and it is definately the answer!!!

Alarm

How about the install, have you install the alarm yet? If so, can you share the wiring with us!

What about this thing? Says you don't need to use any keys once programmed.

Of what I thought I was reading about the DE! 1101t it looks like you still need to use a key for it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
