aftermarket alarm
It says you still need a key, at least the immobilizer part of it.
I have yet to install this on my car. I will as soon as money comes in. I havent found any wiring diagrams, but if I can come across some extra money, I will be sure to post up wiring once I install it.

answer to all your problems
the bypass that works with the FAST Key system is
DEI 1101t This allows you to have a remote start system and still use your FAST key system.
When funds roll around I am putting this in my car. I have been doing the research to find the correct bypass as well, I read up on it and it is definately the answer!!!

Will this ad on allow you to still use the fast key system fully? Because i have a viper 2 way and whenever i use the fast key to unlock my doors the alarm triggers(aka pressing the black button on the handle). I still have the key less start function when i start the car but fast key door unlocking doesn't work properly?
The 1101T isn't going to let you use the FAST key....it's just the bypass that is used for cars with Proximity Keys. For those that are familiar with remote start installs it's the same thing as the old 555U and 556U that is the universal bypass for cars. The 1101T is the same concept but it's for Proximity keys so they are not activated all the time when the key that is used for bypass is in the car.
Long story short that bypass is just for bypassing the immoblizer in the car and nothing more.

have you personally tested this? Why would they make a U and this new T the same bypass for doing ONLY the immobilizer bypass? Is it not true that all you would have to do to disable the "proximity" and utilize JUST the immobilizer is remove the battery? Ive been researching this as I have the FAST system. Have not had a chance to test this specific unit, but the info I have says it still allows keyless to work & arm/disarm. (In general w/ o a remote start, the FAST system, or the keyless on the remote does NOT work while vehicle is started.) Please let me know if you have tested this specific bypass. Thanks.
I cant link the actual instructions to the module but I will copy and paste them on here:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
the 1101t interface module is used when installing remote start prod-
ucts in vehicles equipped with a proximity key. This type of key does
not need to be inserted into the ignition to start. (they are generally
associated with push button start vehicles.)
A small chip imbedded in the ignition key, called a transponder, trans-
mits a very low powered RF (radio frequency) signal, which is picked
up by the immobilizer’s transceiver. once the correct signal is received
the immobolizer will enable the ignition and /or fuel systems.
If an attempt is made to start the vehicle and the transreceiver does
not receive a valid code, the ignition and sometimes the fuel systems
are disabled. the immobilizer system will then render the remote start
useless. the 1101t bypasses the immobolizer system only while the
remote start is in use, maintaining the factory system’s integrity. When
the remote start system is not in use the factory immobilizer remains
fully functional.
STEP 1: INSERT THE VEHICLE KEY
1. Open the Control Module and place the vehicle’s coded key on the empty area of the circuit board.
a. Check Jumper settings
The unit is shipped with the Jumper in 3.0 v mode. Check the
combined battery voltage of the remote you are working with
and move the Jumper to the correct setting before powering up
the 1101t. (See a detail view of jumper settings on page 2. )
2. Setup the Battery
a. Remove the battery from the factory proximity key.
b. Insert the provided circuit board battery into the battery holder of
the proximity key.
If the battery does not properly fi t in the proximity key’s battery holder, cut the circuit board battery off the control module and
solder it directly to the proximity key battery contacts.
Verify that you have the correct polarity
3. Reassemble the control module to secure the key inside
STEP 2: COMPLETE WIRE CONNECTIONS
to plug the 5-pin power plug into the control module:
1. Connect the BlACK wire to the chassis (ground).
2. Connect the red wire to a fused source of constant 12 v.
3. Connect the BLUE wire to the negative (-) status output of the remote start.
4. Connect the PurPle/BlACK wire.
this wire may be connected to a negative (-) pulsed wire
from the remote start. A pulsed negative input on this wire
removes power from the internal battery, 10 seconds after
the input. This will allow the doors to lock during remote start.
(Door relocking may not occur in all vehicles.)
5. Connect the VIolet wire.
this wire may be connected to a positive (+) pulsed wire from
the remote start. A pulsed positive input on this removes power
from the internal battery 10 seconds after input. this will allow the
doors to lock during remote start. (Door relocking may not occur in
all vehicles.)
I have worked with both the "U" and the 1101T and the reason for the 1101T is that not all proximity keys have the transponder in the key that can be removed from the Prox key.
The factory keyless wont work when the car is remote started....you'll have to wire up the keyless on the aftermarket remote start for to be able to unlock the car when it is running with the remote start.
