Double Din Metra kit Modified.

This is not a post for solicitation.

Just showing what we did to make the Metra kit fit better with an aftermarket Kenwood DPx503.

Can you explain more what you did exactly to modify it? I guess I haven't really seen the Metra as a standard install before.

I've heard the scosche kit fits well also, have you seen/used a scosche?

We took the trim form Kenwood and molded into the dash kit, Nuch better fit around the radio. Outside trims are not perfect on the Metra kit.

We looked into that and still are. We have decided not to make the top piece for the Evo 8-9 Since that can be bought from JDM parts cheap. Bottom piece we are taking a different approach that can be bought from dealer arts bin or used. We will however have to make an adapter harness.

I am sure if you took the alpine trim and molded that in, it would work for the Alpine.
