the head unit is kenwood DDX7039, with GPS navi unit. I'm not 100% happy with it, tho. I'd rather the Pioneer AVH-p6050dvd. Has more functions for time-alignment, and sound adjustments are better, I think.

any trick to mounting your amps in that locations. Your system is VERY clean, I want the exact same haha. I will probably just do a 5 channel however, mated to the stock navi with a audiocontrol unit?

The only "trick" is to make sure that the thin plywood/mdf that you use to mount the amp is securely BOLTED to the bottom of the "boot tray" (i dunno what you call that top section....). Just a normal screw would ultimately shake loose, especially since the X is a bit (or a lot) bumpy depending on the suspension you have.

De 2 audison amps that I have are quite light and small.. not too heavy. A 5-channel amp may be a bit heavy for that tray...
