I used the factory brackets off the radio..They are all the same..It didnt sit right so I used a bolt on each side and longer screws..I also had to bend the bottom tabs..I will take pics..Its a very tight fit now and no issues..I used the dash kit by scosche..Everything worked out

Boss D1200M Diablo Amplifier and no extra speakers. If it would've been just Nav w/parts and install, it would've been $900 plus tax. But they told me if i wanted the F90 to still power the stock sub, i was gonna have to get a small amp.

yeah i feel like you did get ripped off a bit, you dont have aftermarket speakers.. i dont feel like your audio is gonna get any better, but i can be wrong. im equipping my headunit (whichever i choose, between f90bt, or a kenwood model) with either JL audio or Polk speakers. of course subs and amps according to what i do.. probably putting down around 1.5-2gs

not sure though.. getting it all installed at Myer Emco (i have the hook up they love me )

so i cant really tell that your getting ripped off or not, if i was in your situation and i payed 1.1 id probably have a little more to my sound system then just a headunit and amp (including installation)

but then again it also depends on who you get it done by, seems like a decent deal.

stock sub sounds awesome with that amp so can't complain there. But i did talk to him about the kenwood unit. he didn't recommend it. said that the nav on kenwood is good, but overall pioneer is still better as far as quality and sound. according from his experiance and customers.

Here is what it cost me to put this in my wife's 2006 Honda Odyssey

F90bt - $495 after 13% cashback from live.com and 3% cashback on ebates (included install kit and wiring harness)
Antenna adapter - $19
Pac swi-ps - $47 (for steering wheel controls)
Labor - FREE I did the install myself
Total - $561

The mods from avic411.com really make this unit so much better.

u still got the 2 year warrenty? i THINK i could've done it myself. but when it to electronics, i'm slow and i 99% of the times get frustrated. so i tend to not deal with it at all. i've checked out that avic411.com site. and i feel like the dumbest person alive reading that **** I wish it was broken down to 1st grade level

it took them almost 4 hours to install nav, amp, and routing the wires. i don't even want to imagine how long it would've taken me with the lack of experiance and tools, lol.

I bought it new for about 550 shipped, and installed it myself in my SSL, so all together, that's all I paid. I just made some custom aluminum brackets til I got it exactly positioned the way I wanted. It took a couple of nights working on it, it's not my dd, so I took my time running the wires, soldering, cleaning up, etc, also had to move the hvac to make double din etc....I do not have a lot of experience with it, but I am 110% satisfied with the way it came out and works perfectly
