i have installed the oem navi unit into my 08 gsr,and i don't have a manual on it so i am asking the guys that have one ,or have maxed out thier music server .. how many songs can you get on it,and how much room is on the hd,and or cansomeone make a copy of the manual,and send it to me .. i will even toss a few bucks for your troubles

 

I'd expect out of 30 gigs, probably 7000-7500 songs, depending on how long they are

im uber jealous. how do you like it so far? did you do the DVD hack on it yet?

 

Only 8 gigs are available for the music server I believe.

Music isn't stored in mp3 format so who knows how efficient the codec Mitsubishi uses to store the music.

 

What are the two sizes of OEM Navi HDD capacity? 30GB and...?

From what I gather one is twice as much as the other (as per mitsubishiparts.net)

 

Does anyone know how big the music files are? This would tell us how efficient their codec is.
