MMCS different between Ralliart and Evolution?
All,
Does the Evolution and Ralliart come with different MMCS units? I ask because I was looking at a dealer's website and was giving me different pricing from the RA and Evo X MMCS.
Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

Possibly. The 2008 Evo came with the 30GB MMCS as an option. I believe the 2009 Ralliart comes with the 40GB version. There are two different part #s between the 30GB and 40GB version.
The 2010 Evo, Ralliart 4-door and Ralliart Sportback all come with the 40GB.
So, that might be the reason why

Yep. The 30GB is the older model, so they've been discounting them.
Don't quote me on this, but I believe the differences are the size of the hard driver (40GB vs. 30GB) and the newer models may have the latest navigation disk.
Other than that, I don't believe anything else has changed.
So, if you're OK with a 30GB hard drive and the old navi data, then I would suggest going for it if the price difference is $1000. And, if you want the newer Navi data I think that is around $200. So, still a better deal to buy the older model.
Good luck!

Send a PM to RussellM. He's a vendor on here and is the parts manager at a Mitsu dealer. He's always good at figuring out the differences between OEM parts. He might be able to offer you a good price too
I did and never got a response!
