MMCS Sat Radio and AUX Inputs?

Can anyone help me with the part number to get the Auxulary inputs for the cubby below my heater controls.

Also My 2008 MR with MMCS does not have Sat Radio on the options menu to listen to. Is there a update i need to get this going? I miss haveing XM radio in my old car and want it in this one.

There are a few vendors on here that could help you. with the part number. One of them is RussellM. He's extremely helpful with these kinds of requests. Send him a PM

For the Sat Radio, it should be available. It's standard on all Evo Xs. But, it is SIRIUS...not XM. Hit MODE on your MMCS and look for the little dog SIRIUS logo. That's it. And, you can just cancel your XM account and get a SIRIUS account. Pretty much all the same stations. If you really want XM, I think you'll have to go aftermarket. I don't believe anyone has figured out if the MMCS is capable of running XM.

thats odd, i thought all lancers with navi's had that 6months free xm radio, i say ask ur dealer, look over ur sale sheet and see if it was listed in their 2 becuase maybe they jipped u out of it. but the Parts department at your local dealer could give u the partnumber also.

That's really strange. I would take it back to the dealer. As far as I know, whatever software the MMCS comes with should have a Sirius input button on the Mode select screen. Maybe the satellite connection is unplugged from the unit?

My '08 MR came with it all set up.

Something's unplugged if it's not recognizing the satellite radio.

if the Sirius logo isn't there. Then that means you are missing the brain box for sirius. I bought my mmcs from someone else. I didnt get it with the evo. Then later when i got the drain box the Sirius logo appeared in my main menu. I just have to wire in the antenna for it now

Take your glove box off, and the brain box for the Sirius interface in on the right hand side of the opening. Ensure that the wiring harness is properly plugged in (or present at all).

Was the MMCS a factory-installed part, or dealer-installed? There is a different antenna base (the large one) for a vehicle equipped with Sirius.

It sure sounds dealer installed because he should also have the aux inputs! My GSR does. I bet they swapped the heads with another car and didn't bother doing the rest.
