HORNET 727T alarm system add on
i was searching for an alarm system that will utilize/improve the oem alarm system. I did search some in 8-9 section and found but i'm not sure if it will do any good for the X (didn't find any good answers in the X section). i'm assuming it is but i thought i should ask.
here is the alarm that i'm referring to:
http://www.hornetcarsecurity.com/Pro...?ProductID=805
this will technically make use of the oem alarm system and it is an add on. I know the suggested in the market are clifford 1000, viper 5901, etc. but i thought of this product let me know your thoughts.
also if you guys have a wiring diagram on how to hook it up on the X that would be great. MRCole's link for the diagram appears to be taking forever to take forever to have an opportunity to download. thank you.

That product you linked to will pretty much duplicate the OEM alarm system on the Evo X. It pretty much does all the same stuff.
That alarm was a nice option for the VIII/IX because they did NOT come with an OEM alarm. Just keyless entry. I had that exact Hornet alarm installed on my IX. It worked just like an OEM alarm would.
If you're looking for more protection than the OEM alarm on your X, you should go with a full alarm system.
