Pioneer Z110BT bluetooth mic issues

Hi
I am new to this forum so please excuse me if this has already been discussed:
I recently had a Z110BT installed in my 08 GSR. The bluetooth mic is at the top left corner of the windowshield/headliner. People I call using the mic say that there is a huge amount of what sound like wind noise when I am talking. It doesnt seem to matter whether the car is moving or even if the engine is on or not (ie even if the key is just on ACC setting the noise is still there).
any thougts on the cause? should i move the mic? is this a grounding problem?
thanks
Ian

I don't have a problem with my Pioneer F700BT.. it is essentially the same as yours.

I put my microphone here (map lights) and people can hear me clear as day:

Make sure to turn on noise/echo cancellation in the radio's phone settings menu. Also make sure they are no crimps in your mic cable. A ****ed up cable can cause induced noise.
