Can I keep factory bluetooth with aftermarket deck?

I have a alpine deck from my evo 9 sitting in the garage. I was looking at installing it in my x, but I would like to keep the factory bluetooth. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Are you planning on integrating the steering wheel controls with the Alpine?

If I can. I really dont care though. I think the stock Bluetooth is fine but the iPod solutions for the stock head unit suck. I really don't want to buy alpines Bluetooth adapter for $100 when the stock one works fine for me.

I think the biggest issue you'll run into will be the steering wheel controls. The built-in BT is a separate module, so while it operates independently from the stereo, when we were programming the SWC with the BT plugged in it would key off certain BT commands on the audio controls. Frankly if it's only $100 for the Alpine BT adapter, it would easily be worth the reduced potential headache.
