i have an 08 X MR with stock stereo (non-nav, non rockford fosgate)..

my issue is when playing a CD, for some reason only the sound comes from the left side speakers.. i confirmed this by turning the balance to the left, and sound is very dim... but music plays normally (all four speakers) during Radio operation.

i think this is a CD input issue from the head unit... but does anyone else have this similar issue?

ps. i'm assuming this would be covered under warranty?


edit: i meant left side..

 

It's a common problem the dealership will order a new headunit and install it under warranty.
