Yes if you dont like it you can always build your own, but you wont be able to build a 8.1 710 watts system for under $2k....

P.S it also depends on how well your hearing is and the type of music you listen too......
Less than $2k, you get the entire package for $2k it also includes leather and the fast key.

I agree with everybody that says the Fastkey is the SHIZZZZ. All i need is the key in my pocket i can unlock the car, start the car, and when i get out of the car; push the little button on the handle and the car locks. all this and the key fob never leaves my pocket. Now if only my house had this technology, I know they have it out there, but the price is probably more than my X.

I'm not a fan of the fast key just because of the nonsense huge sensor on the trunk. The optional equipment I got was wheel locks that cost only $50

So what your saying is you would rather pull your key out to unlock the trunk or walk to the driverside and pull the latch????

Yeah I sure would. I wash my car and wax it myself, so pulling a key out of my pocket or walking around to pull the latch really isn't a issue

You should see me insert the key on my civic. I know you must really be going nuts now . I don't think you would be able to handle it

I had a 98 ford contour for 7 yrs. i had to use the key to open the trunk every time cause the latch didn't work and sometimes the remote door opener didnt work so yeah i know all about using the key to get in a car and in Dec 2010 I was happy to say good riddens.

On my Sti I had to either open the driver door and pull the trunk pop or use the key, it didn't have a remote trunk pop. So naturally I like being able to just press a button (I guess I am lazy).

Back on topic, you guys must blast the stereo I very rarely if ever go above 22 and IMO it's the best factory system I have heard.

Get it. It's worth it, and the Rockford system gets the job done, of coarse there are better aftermarket systems, but its good enough unless you really really want a high performance/quality system. On my last car I had a $2,000 10 speaker JBL system with 2 12in. subs. Believe me I would know.

The only thing I would like to see different on the Rockford system would be a louder sub, it seems a little underpowered on higher volume, also the 3rd sub punch setting should be the base setting

For those of you saying the fast key is worth it... are you trying to say its $2000 worth it (since most ppl would agree the sound system isn't that good)? Because to me its not worth $2000... $1500...$1000... maybe worth $500 but meh.... The sound system well for $2000 you can get yourself a much better system.... just my thoughts...
