System sounds terrible after new deck

I just finished installing my new AVH-P4300DVD and now everything sounds terrible. I cant increase the volume more than 50% without it sounding raspy. I have to put the equalizer on the vocal preset in order for it to sound half decent. Do I need to mess with the screws on the back of the mito-02?

Yes, mine did the same thing. I turned the screws all the way up and it was good to go. As loud as factory anyway....
