AUX input

Why is the AUX input of the Evo X useless.... ? when I plug in any external music device which can carry music (itouch, iphone, blackberry etc...) the sound is terrible, have to turn up way high to hear anything and there is so much static it sounds like listening to a 1930 radio... any solution ????
thx

each device controls its own volume output. so if you have it turned down on one (mp3, etc.) you will have to turn it up higher on the other (car stereo) to get the same volume. it also works the other way around.

as for the audio quality itself, mine works just fine with zero static or anything. so you may just gotten one with poor connections or what not. can always have it checked out.

are you serious? you're supposed to have the volume at the source at least 75% of the way up, if not all the way up. the source being your mp3 device.
