And this if you're really feeling adventurous:

You did what? You pulled the fuse and the whine stopped? How does that happen?

Lol. Right. But what we're going for is sound with no whine. Removing the system all together would be a sure fire way to get rid of the whine.

I've got some ground loop isolators that I'm going to try to wire in between the deck pre-amps and the rca's to the amp. They've got their own ground wires, so I'm hoping that this will essentially be grounding the rca's. Will provide updates.

The wires on ground loop isolators are suppose to be grounded. Theres 2 wires on each gli, can i take all 4 wires and put to 1 ground?

Not sure, but would probably work better if you spread them out.

I tried a fewbthings yesterday and nothing helped. Ordered a new kenwood. If anyone wants a 700bt and plans on running the speakers from it, let me know. Could also be a cheap project for someone.

Dude it's not the aftrermarket pioneer.... it's the factory shiiit. Mine has the wine with the stock rockford fosgate .... it's only thru the AUX input though. CD and radio are fine.

I think on either this forum or evoxforums I read other's have the same problem. Was reading your thread hoping that you had found a fix!!!

I haven't really dug into the problem yet wiring wise.

In your case it might not be, but my issue is definitely with the HU. Everything else has been pulled out and tested and Pioneers are notorius for ground problems.
