OEM Nav to Aftermarket Questions???

I have the OEM Nav/bluetooth and am thinking of switching over and selling my stock setup to an aftermarket unit so I can have a nice setup with everything integrated including IPod. Has anybody gotten rid of their stock Nav for aftermarket? Can you keep the OEM vent/faceplate setup with an aftermarket setup or do you have to use the not great aftermarket faceplates? That's one of my biggest issues. Any help would be great, thanks everyone!

In order to go with an aftermarket double-din setup, you'll also have to switch over to an aftermarket dash kit (Scosche, Metra or factory JDM).. otherwise, the opening in the OEM piece will be too large, and you'll have a huge gap around the new stereo.

The JDM Mitsu kit will have the OEM look you want, but it's very expensive.. a few hundred dollars, if I remember correctly. Otherwise, just go with the Scosche kit, which has the next best fit-and-finish.
