HKS EVC 6 Installation problem

Hi

For wiring the HKS EVC6, you need a TPS input (Pin#10) and a speed/rpm input. but how to get the speed/rpm signal in the Evo X? I mean, in the ecu pinout there is nothing called rpm signal or vss signal. I read that the Evo X has a CAN bus system so there is no separate rpm signal. so can i get the rpm signal off the Coil #1 input (Pin#4)?

These 2 threads should help locate the VSS wire..

VSS should be pin 31 (white w/blue stripe wire) located on the 20-pin connector that's behind the stereo.

Best of luck!
