Where to pull Speedo and Engine RPM signal from?

Is there a speed signal and / or seperate Engine RPM signal on the X's ecu?

since it's CAN based i'm thinking most likely not. are people just using first ignition coil for RPM speed and setting their gauges to single signal input?

thinking about installing Defi guages.. thanks

You gotta get an engine performance wiring diagram that shows ecu pinout. The rpm will work off of a pulsating ground from the coils and the speed can be taken from vss input wire at ecu.

This has been discussed and found in a different thread for the HKS turbo timer type 1. Here is the link for those wires.

I posted pic on there. Here are pinouts:

Had to do em for the AVCR install. Make sure to grab a coil signal for RPM.
