Unhappy Boost gauge install..help. Can't find the accessory power

I was looking at this thread
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lean-hell.html

and searched few others but "fuse tap" solution doesn't work for me for some reason. I tried two different fuse taps but no power when it's connected to the accessory fuses..

Is there any other place that I can tap for accessory power? I have no problem with constant or ground connection since I can use my dome light for that(as I did for my radar detector)..

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

do you want constant power so that the gauge stores all of its presets? IE recall, peaks, ect? if yes then idk what gets constant power in the evo besides the batt itself, but if you don't need constant power, just tap into the 12v supply on the rheostat itself, cuz you have 3 wires, 12v, ground, and your "adjusted voltage" to dim the lights.

thanks for all the inputs..I figured that out, the "add-a-fuse" requires two fuses instead of one, that's the problem I was experiencing
