Evoscan question

Anyone know if it will display on an aftermarket nav screen? If so. What inputs are needed?

I dont believe the oem nav unit has that capability. It might be able to do a backup camera, but I cant remember.

I just bought the evoscan gps unit, while it doesnt seem to be the cleanest solution, I think it is released for some tablet's now and you could mount a tablet in the area where the double din is. Or you make a carpc setup

aftermarket sounds like it might..but installing the evoscan software to the nav unit is another challenge. Or you run a carpc and display it out on the nav screen.

do you mean that installing it on your A-Pillar were you can see it the easiest isn't the cleanest solution? I think most people install EvoScan GPSNav in the same location were people historically would have installed boost gauges.. for the same reason.. you really do need to see the evoscan touch screen in realtime whilst driving or racing, it is showing so much valuable information, that your gauge cluster never can. I have a double din touchscreen windows7 with evoscan. and a evoscan gps nav running on the A-Pillar. I can tell you now, that the double din touchscreen is just cool factor for your passengers.. but when it comes to real information, you need it up on your dash by your steering wheel.. cleanest solution or not its functional and mandatory for saving your engine when things go bad, you need to see the bad stuff happning in realtime, hehe. not from your passenger sitting there and looking at you nice double din in the middle where only they can see it, thinking, hey thats cool your boost is reading 50psi.

LOL 50 PSI PMSL

Anyone know if this would successfully work on say:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=451304530

Just because it's cheap and i can put it in place of my current Japanese MMCS touch screen that is pretty much useless to me! I already have a good pioneer headunit so want to keep that in, the GPS/NAV from EVOSCAN a little pricey for me at the moment... and this plays AVI

That seems to be the best mounting location and the easiest to read. I just realized, i forgot to order the tactrx cable. So right now its basically a GPS lol. Also tactrix has these sold out. I guess Ill order from evoscan.
