Running only front speakers?
So here's my predicament, i jumped the gun when i bought my 5 channel kenwood kca-7005 5-channel amp when i didn't take into account that 40 watts rms prob won't really bring a full compenent set to life and that power is rated at 14.4v, not the 13-ish volts our cars actually run.
I want to buy a nice set of focal or jl components for the fronts, but want them to get adequate power. If i bridge the amp, each speaker will get roughly 100 watts rms at 4ohm x 2...but then I won't be able to power the rear speakers.
I've heard of people just running a front stage setup and that being more than enough. Would this really fill the car with music so that passengers in the back can enjoy it too?
I figure I can either just disconnect the rears, or let the headunit power the rears while the amp powers the fronts. Any thoughts?
I'm looking at either Focal 165 V30 or JL C5-650 in the front and just whatever speakers in the rear.
Any and all help would really be appreciated!!

if you HAVE to have the rears (passenger enjoyment?) let the headunit power them and fade mostly to the front.
Rears, without a processor, destroy the sound stage and make the music sound muddy and disorganized because of the odd reflections and time delays.
