Sirius Antenna
Sirius Antenna
Searched for this and didn't find an answer.
Just upgraded my stock RF radio to a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH. Bought the SiriusConnect to keep my Sat Radio on the new radio. I took out my old module and stuck it in my wife's Lancer using the antenna that came with my kit.
I took the brown plastic cap thing off of my antenna so I could reuse stock antenna with my kit. Problem is, when i go to plug it in, I get to where the male/female ends of the antenna meet but it won't plug in all the way and I can't get signal from the satellite. It's like a damn SiriusXM chastity belt. Anyone do this themselves and have a trick to get the antenna to plug in? Worst case I have to run my own aftermarket antenna, but I'd like to avoid the trunk decoration.
