How do I mount aftermarket radio?

I guess my question is where do I mount an aftermarket radio? To fit my dash kit there is no place for screws to go or to hold the unit up. Do I have to make some sort of bracket system and drill into the plastic around the new unit? I guess I didnt think this through when I took apart the whole dash that the new unit wouldnt fit exactly where the stock one would fit. The stock unit sits much lower than where I need the new unit to fit since the dash kit is set up that way.

THanks!!!!

You have to remove the brackets from the stock stereo on the sides. There should have been screws that came with your aftermarket head unit.

There should be a kit available to mount your aftermarket radio. I would check with the manufacturer.
