Evo X - Aftermarket navigation unit

Hi all -

When I got my 2011 Evo X GSR, I opted not to get the navigation. I also thought if I was ever interested in getting one, I would go with something aftermarket.

With that said, I'm interested in purchasing the Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH now. It looks like it's a great unit and has everything I'd like audio and navigation wise.

I also need to look into a LCD dashboard kit. I see the most popular ones are the following:

1. American International MITK-894
2. Mitsubishi's Evo X JDM kit - http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...EY=330-019-001

Does anyone have any experience with these dash kits and do you think that a 7" LCD unit will have fitment issues? Thanks!

I have the JDM dash kit and it fits very snug. the middle tab broke so if you look at the picture, it looks messed up. im pretty sure it would look perfect had it not been for that one problem. i also have a pioneer avic-z140bh and it fits with a tiny bit of space in between. I believe the measurements for pioneer is like 6.95" instead of 7 inch display. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...head-unit.html

i would go with the JDM one as well I had the Metra, scosche, and JDM. The metra one completely stunk out loud. The Scoche wasnt bad but to fit really well i needed to shave some of the plastic down. the JDM one had no issues
