Hey guys, so when I'm on the road. If I drive around 40-50 miles, my evo would turn off and the battery lit up on the dashboard , it happens when I go on neutral . When it turns off, I would just start the car again and it will be fine. This happen several time already, could it be the alternator?

 

If it was the alternator, it would leave you on the side of the road and not start back up. Hopefully someone can chime in with some ideas.

What year/tune/mods do you have?

 

2008 gsr have not gotten tuned, k&n intake , perrin exhaust . I bought it like that and I haven't put anything in it. I had the car since April and it started acting up on me this week . I put like 2000 miles since I got it and it's 73k miles

 

Check that as well. It was pretty tight . Wouldn't even budge .

 

When you installed your intake did anything interfere with the fitment that you might have touched the electrical distribution block with the red plastic positive cap under the hood?
