2015 fender chrome vent wired for marker

So I have searched and cant find an answer. I pulled the cheap ridiculous chrome things off my fender to paint black tonight and it appears Mitsubishi left the wiring there for signals! My question is has anyone plugged a signal in to see if they actually will work? If not I will order a set and let you guys know.

Do you have a volt meter?

If so, insert the probes into the plug and put the flashers on. Should show voltage when the lights flash.

Hey this is my first post but I can assure you that the 2014 fender light will fit in the hole and actually work when you connect the cable that is connected to the chrome crap.

Thanks for the info. I also thought about too many lights on the side so I just removed the chrome trim pieces and painted them black. They look better but still look odd to me Idk... Mitsubishi was cheap af to just not delete them imo.

Yeah but do you think they cared at all about those after they stop putting the recaros in? Lol and they will still sell every last one so financially it makes sense but it sucks for the 15 owners.

I'm rocking the same set. They blink orange but since that's the only time they're on I don't think it's overkill on the side lighting.

Any pictures of them installed? I am also looking at getting rid of the chrome vent.

Very nice looking splattj

Are the factory chrome pieces easy to pop out? Also do you know what size light bulbs those blinkers are?

They were really easy to pop out. Just pull firmly back towards the doors and they pop out. The sidemarkers are sealed units with a bulb in them. Somewhere there's a writeup on cutting them open to get at the bulb....

The reason I asked is that I've also found some LEDs side markers on Ebay and IMO they look better than the amber bulbs from the link you posted but I've not had good experiences with reliabilities on LEDs from Ebay so I'm still debating. I'll see if I can find that other write up here. Thanks!
