2014 navigation in 2010 mr

I have a rf standard radio in my evo. Will a 2014 nav unit work?

I wanted to go factory nav+ RF, but ended up getting the 10.2 android system.Its not too bad for the price

Dunno why anyone would want the factory nav. It's never updated, and if it is, it costs you money. Get an Apple Carplay or Android Auto 2din unit and use Apple/Google Maps. Or buy a Garmin for $100 with lifetime maps, maybe spring $40 for the LMT traffic version, and you'll have a great interface from people that only do GPS, and won't charge you for updates that come out every 2 years. Just my 2 cents.

I got a Garmin because I can move it between cars, I can put it on my motorcycle, the interface works with gloves on, and it won't slide to another state if you touch an edge with your thumb. I only use the phone as a backup. It's wonky on my iPhone 6 anyway. Works in the city while walking, but loses its head while driving.
