14+ Outlander dash kit on evo x

Has anyone tried the 14+ outlander double din trim on their 14+ evo with the touchscreen non-nav? It looks like it will fit but I'm not 100% and don't want to pull the trigger as nobody in town has it for me to test fit.

I couldn't find an answer after searching for a while

You don't want to go aftermarket? I got a Pioneer 2din, very happy so far. It was $480US plus $80 for the Axxiss harness. Bit of a gap around the radio to the stock vent piece, and I didn't spring the extra $40 for steering wheel controls yet. The stock radio drove me batsh*t crazy.

I'm not sure if the trim ring will fit. It will obviously fill the whole properly but the problem is the mounts that attach to the side of the radio also attach to that ring, so it is only a matter of distance. If I had to guess I'd say it may fit as mitsubishi probably doesn't want to have specialized head units on the distance aspect.
