Android head unit recommendations

I am currently planning to upgrade the oem touchscreen in my Mitsubishi Ralliart with an 8.0+ Android unit.. I love the features and reviews of the Sygav 10.2" unit designed specifically for my car , but unfortunately can't swing the nearly 550$ price I see in Amazon for it. I am looking for recommendations for an alternative that can be hassle free as possible and not so dang expensive !!
I see similar units in Ali and on eBay,
but am nervous of buying something I regret.
I know many members of this forum are experts on such items and hopefully can chime in .
Thanks in advance for your time .

Skip the middleman (US resellers) and order straight from the manufacturer. You will save maybe 140 or so

Here is the one I ordered. Seems to have all the latest specs and you can order without a canbus (no Rockford) or with an 08-13/14-15 as needed. 4GB ram, octa-core processor, running 8.0. I have a 14 with Rockford Audio and my total was $386 shipped to my door.

Just a word of caution about most of the Android Head Units. If you plan on any serious audio upgrades, they're probably not a good fit. Most of them have Mono subwoofer outputs and a lot of the real world testing shows 0.02-0.05v on the RCA preouts when they are published as 2v. While you can compensate for these, it will impact sound quality and require layers of equipment.

That said, if you're going to stick to the factory speakers or even the RF setup, they all seem to work pretty well by all accounts!

I have ZERO technical skill for installations on anything. A buddy of mine did the install and it doesnt take more than 30min. All the wires and harnesses are included and everything worked perfect. I still have the steering wheel controls. The only thing I havent tried was the bluetooth. I dont usually make calls from the car and the only time I connect my phone, is to stream music. But since my phone plan has unlimited hotspot (very old verizon plan), the android headunit is basically a tablet and I have the Pandora app on it. No issues so far

This looks awesome. I'm tempted to get this myself. Need to see if I can figure out how to install it though.
