So I’ve installed a alpine ilx-w650 with a mito-02 and a Axxess ASWC-1 in my 08 evo mr and we’ve encountered a big but small problem we’ve wired everything up to damn near perfection but when I on the car after like 2 or 3 hours the radio stops working. To get it working again I have to take the radio fuse out and put it back in then everything works fine. Does anyone know how to fix that to where when I on the car the radio turns on and I don’t have to pull that fuse and put it back in. If anyone knows a solution to this problem please just give some feedback.

 

How are you pulling the fuse, from the back of the radio?

Presumably you pull it when the car is turned off, right? So maybe shutting off the car - and thus resetting the radio - is the real fix?

I would double check your wiring. Make sure you're getting a solid 12v from the battery, and that you didn't instead tap into accessory power.

The other obvious thing is to check the ground.

If these are fine, then I'd call Alpine for support. It could be a faulty unit.
