I see this SYGVA Android Headunit is popular on the forum. Has anyone had any issues with the sound of this unit with the Rockford Fosgate system? Do you have control over the subwoofer level? Does it sound the same as the stock radio? I've seen conflicting information on Amazon reviews. Some people say no, others say it's fine. I don't mean bass as in EQ I mean sub level like the punch option on the stock radio. I have the 2015 MR with Rockford Fosgate amp and sub and had the Navigation radio.

How about anyone with the 10 model and years 2014 or 2013. I imagine they are the about the same system.

The system is the same across but they change the module they ship the unit with. Just make sure you get it from their site and get the right part or be extra careful on eBay/etc.

Did you end up getting this head unit? How was the audio quality/volume/bass with your rockford fosgate system?

 

sorry I was afraid to get it. I did get a reply from the manufacturer that said no bass control, only EQ bass control. That would affect all speakers. I wanted to try it out but I got burned so bad with the Alpine headunit. Lost a lot of money.....

 

if i turn the volume up, the amp clips audio for 10sec then starts playin again. not that big of a deal for me since i am changing the amp anyway

Bumping this thread back up as I had a couple questions regarding this Head Unit

I am looking for something that will play my music via BT and also function as my google maps. Anyone install this and have some feedback on how well the maps feature works? Ultimately my goal is to not have to rely on a magnet mount for google maps and avoid using cables to listen to spotify.

If anyone has any other HU reco's i am open to hearing them as well
