Stock radio amplifier

Can you add an amplifier to the stock evo radio? I wanna get more out of the components I am installing without getting a new radio

yes, you can either get this http://www.audiocontrol.com/222456/p...r----LC6i.html or an amp with speaker level inputs.

I have a 06 IX MR with a basic factory system. I just removed my stock radio and installed a Pioneer DEH-P9400HD. it made a significant improvement in the sound and quality of the stock speakers. It also gave me bluetooth hands free calling , Pandora, Ipod, etc. The radio is so much better than the stocker. You might be happier with a new radio than an amplifier.

Sure, you can. The thing is, the stock HU is the bottleneck of the system. I wanted to keep mine, too. If you're hoping to improve sound quality, change the HU.
