Also, the image of both the dashboard radio bezel. The one with the wires is the aftermarket radio. As you can see both bezels are different.
Got the radio cause it's the latest version Specifications: System:Android 15 Chipset: MT8163 Operating speed: 1.3GHZ Screen size:10.1'' Memory:2GB (RAM)+64GB (ROM)
When I bought a replacement Android radio for my Evo IX it came with an adapter harness to connect it to the car harness. Ask the vendor about why it's missing for you.
okay, I brought my car to the dealer today, because I bought this radio off of eBay. I even had it see if it would work and it said it would fit. I get it, I can't get the bezel to snap back in!
It came with wiring of course.. When I installed it to see if it worked it did. Now my control knobs won't turn on, air just blows out of the vents without the air actually being on!
I got the air bag yelling at me, ASC as well. traction control icon as well.
What I did and I think I sorted the can bus that's what the guy told me today.
If you see the image and the red circle, what I did was I untighten a screw and placed that black wires end piece under the screw and then screwed it down. I believe that is or was the cause of the short!
I thought I was doing the right thing and grounding the radio!?
I feel like I remember when I had the Mazdaspeed3 I bought an Eonon Radio Unit. https://www.eonon.com/ and it came with a grounding wire as well. and I believe my friend who installed it for me planted that ground wire and things worked just fine.
