reflashing with the Amazing Ecutek Evo X Flash Can - 30 easy whp!

I just started working with the new Ecutek Flash Can. I previously had the Subaru Flash Can. This Evo X version kicks ***. I started doing some initial adjustments on our X on the dyno and picked up an easy 30 whp in no time. I am tuning some customer cars now and will get our X back on the dyno later tonight. The X flashing era has begun. Al

You ought to be able to squeeze at least 80 hp from the tune with no other mods. That's what Shiv got on a mustang dyno with a piggy back that doesn't even offer as much control as the reflash. Let us know what you end up making.

Can someone explain the pricing structure for EcuTek for those of us that haven't used it. It seems like I have to buy a license and then pay for a tune correct?

What if I just want to purchase the stuff to tune my own car? I have been tuning my own stuff for more than 10 years and I'm not real big on letting other people touch my stuff.

Thanks in advance. Sounds like promising news!

Just wanted to say thanks to Ecutek team for devoting the time to produce a world class product. Once again Ecutek has demonstrated its commitment to remain on the cutting edge of ecu reflashing and tuning technology. I am proud to remain a Ecutek dealer and offering support for Ecutek on every platform they support.

The MIVEC both intake and exhuast are supported now

The inital release does not support the two step or rev limiter but I am sure that will be added with upcomming updates

I've been talking about that with Bruce from Dyno4mance today. Its a great question that we won't know the answer 100% until someone tries it, but I'm fairly sure it still will.

Will the dealer be able to detect the tune? or can it be manipulated so they cant tell?
