400 awhp on the stock turbo is around the corner.
I am waiting on the injectors and fuel pump, then we can crank up the boost.

Next couple mods should be:
1000cc injectors
fuel pump
Cossie Cams
Ported throttle body/intake manifold.

I am trying to break 400whp on 91 octane, it's gonna be close... but I think it can be done.

That is pretty sweet number 101 hp gain on 91oct gas. I would love to get that out of mine. Are these numbers possible on a mail in flash??

[QUOTE=DC_TypeR;5644617]Ok guys... so the results are posted.

Please keep the "well it reads to high/low" well Buschur reads this, and AMS reads that comments to a min.

Getting the boost to work with the ECUtek is a pain in the ***.
Mivec settings were NOT touched.
it is on 91 octane, no fuel additives were used.
stock pump/injectors

Why exactly do you think that controlling boost with ecutek is a pain in the ***? Is this your first time tuning boost with ecutek and you're just not used to it maybe? I only ask because no other tuner that I have talked to has expressed the same sentiment. I would imagine that if you understand the tables and how the system works then it's just a matter of adjusting WGDC mapping, boost targets, gains, etc at different load cells.

I drove noizes car this weekend, which was ecutek tuned by dyno4mance, and his car feels awesome. Smooth, consitent, powerful. They got a ton of power from adjusting the mivec maps, down low and up top as well. His boost is predictable and doesn't overboost at partial throttle like MBCs do. I think if you keep playing with the boost and adjust the mivec maps that you'll be really satisfied. Good luck, and let us know whatyou end up getting,

Am I under the wrong impression that using MBC, the car boosts faster and boost tapers less for this car? I've called few places, and they seem to all recommend running MBC along with Ecutek. Because if I'm wrong, i just wasted $65 for part + $50 for installation & setting the boost.

I'd ask for boost graphs if you are uncertain and question numbers, I posted boost graphs of the ECUTek boost... with NO MBC...

We've ran the MBC w/o the ECUTek... and it was the exact same results. w/ dyno graphs to prove it... so why spend the extra coin if you don't need to?

F*&(^*CK!!! I think I wasted my money. Plus all the trouble of having to deal with CEL and limp mode. Thanks for the information. It's good have a knowledgeable source.

those are some crazy results! I got my exhaust through RRE they put the invoice as "chris style exhaust" haha love it. I'll be down there for the tune by the end of the month just need to throw on the parts as soon as they come in.

The factory tune is EXTREMELY rich (if you have been keeping up on the evo x stock tune from the factory)

So what we are doing with the ECUTek is lean it out, so we can make a little more power on the top end.

Once you hit a certain point in the tuning though, the stock injectors IDC's are maxed out. I think it will be safe to guess, the point where you need to start upgrading your fuel system on the evo x on pump gas, 91/93 octance is going to be somewhere around 350-365whp + or - 5 whp.

1SiCkEvo, congrats. Glad you like the exhaust.

355 whp on Dynapak is really impressive. I'm guessing it's around 370 whp on dynojet, because my car dynoed around 300 on dyno jet @Tuningtechnology, and 280 on dynapak@RRE. I hope someone make injectors soon, so we can see 400 whp.
