Factory Reflash conflicts with Ecutek Reflash

Just FYI for those of you trying get your car tuned with Ecutek. Apparently, the factory reflash changes something to the ROM in your ecu, so the first Ecutek release won't be able to reflash it.

Fortunately, Ecutek released more updates so that you can still reflash the car with factory reflash.

So make sure your tuner has all the updates from Ecutek before you take your car to get it tuned if you got a factory reflash.

And for only another $300 you can get a license for your new ECU!!!

Any information on the exact changes that require a new map?

Ecutek has release an update already for the EvoX software so I believe that was taken care of. Thanks for the info!

Not only has EcuTeK made an update, but they have incorporated the Mitsu flash change into a starter map as well if the end user should want it.

If your tuner can't flash your previously flashed car, he needs to DL the last 2 or 3 EcuTeK updates.
