Archiebabes EVO X Mapped By Tuning Technologies
Car was tuned by Alfred @ Tuning Technologies
Results
Max Power = 358.72
Max Torque = 366.86
Current Stage 1 Mods
1. Turbo Trix Upper and Lower Intercooler Piping
2. Forge BOV
3. AGP Intercooler
4. Turbo Trix Intake with HKS SMF Filter
5. UR Downpipe
6. UR Testpipe
7. 5 Zigen Catback Dual Exhaust
8. AEM Water/Alcohol Injection
Boost is set at 25 to 26 PSI via 100% Methanol Injection
Just a quick comparison of what 100% Methanol can accomplish.
Below is the same Stage 1 EVO X with practicaly the same mods as mine except for the Alcohol Injection.
Modifications: Stage 1
AMS FMIC
AMS Full IC piping
AMS Intake
Test pipe
Single tip CBE
It made 312.86 Max HP and 335.10 Max Torque
With 100% Methanol in the Mix it made 45.86 more HP and 31.76 more torque.

That things must hall A$$. If you're not doing anything on Saturday, can you bring your car to Mitsubishi Owner's day?
Road Race Engineering is bringing their dyno, and I think you're car would have the most WHP out of all EVO X in socal.
Here is the detail:

And one more thing... this is just my opinion, but most likely you've ran out of fuel at high RPM. I think if you get a bigger fuel pump, you could probably squeez another 40 whp.

Is the Dyno time free?
Extra 40whp with a Fuel Pump and ECUTEK tuning?
Can you explain the gains with just the fuel pump?
How about bigger injectors to accomodate the bigger fuel pump?
Thanks for the info man.

Ask Alfred to show what the Fuel Injector duty cycle was at 6,000 to 7,000 rpm, I'm sure it's maxed out. With bigger fuel pump, you can raise the fuel pressure, and turn up the boost even higher.
On my car, the limiting factor was fuel, not boost. The injectors are pretty good, but fuel pump would lower the fuel injector duty cycle by 10 to 15% (that's what I was told, not sure how accurate that is).
And obviously, you would have to retune the car, but since you've already paid for Ecutek license, retune should be much cheaper.

I'll pay your dyno time, if you bring your car. I just want to see what kind of numbers can the EVO X make with Methanol. I'm glad you're the first one to do it, and not me.

What about just install the fuel pump and just raise the boost with the same tune?
Would that yield in added power?
Do you need to make an appointment from RRE before MOD?
