Got my X dyno'ed today on a Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer first with the silencer on my exhaust and it threw down 254 awhp. Decided to take off the silencer to see what differance it makes and to my suprise it went up to 280 awhp / 259 ftlb! My list of Mods include:

Ultimate Racing Intake
Ultimate Racing 3” High-Flow Cat (Metal Substrate)
Nisei 1 piece UICP
Greddy PRofec B-Spec2 Boost controller (set to about 19.5 psi)
Greddy Ti-C Exhaust

 

How well do you run with a plastic bag on your head? Same difference That is a very significant difference.

 

How many EVOs do you see running around with their silencers still in?

Any restriction in the exhaust stream will kill whp. The other obvious one is the Cat for all know there is ~15whp gain with a test pipe. Not advicating get rid of Cat for daily use, just making an observation.
