Btw, I am doing the same thing...I currently have a set of BPR8ES in hand if and when I need them, but I won't be changing them randomly.

I replaced the stock Iridiums at 10k with NGK BPR7EIX (Iridiums).... Im still wondering if Im better of with copper NGK BPR8ES bc it seems many peole are running them with sucess?
The stock iridiums will run fine until about 430 whp (Dyno Dynamic) then you will need the NGK that you have and gap to .23 to .25 if you're making more power since you will experience the spark blowing out making your car shaking. I got the same problem and replacing the plugs with gapped cured it.

BPR8ES - Copper one range colder (8) and last 5-10k miles depending on use and very cheap (<$2/pc).
