My Ivey Tuned X

Sean tuned my X this morning. It took about 2hrs. Price $800 including tax. MY MODS WERE: My CAI, Mufflex test pipe, and a Greddy TIC. Sean made 6 pulls on the dyno. Here are the results.

The base line was 278.49hp/292tq, and 279.8 hp/292.6tq

The best of the tuned pulls for TQ was the first when the motor was cooler@ 324.5hp/335tq
The other pulls were 328hp/322tq, 328hp/317tq, 327hp/319tq

I was very happy with Seans proffesionalism, attitude, clean shop, extra clean waiting room with a flatscreen tv, and so on. Good job Mr. Ivey.

As for the evo x, its still not like my evo 8's were, but the tune really brought the car to life. It plants you in the seat. The 4600rpm to redline hesitation is now gone.
Thank you Sean. You did a hell of a job. I highly recommend your tune.

Awesome man, those are pretty good numbers on a dynojet for just an intake, test pipe, and catback + tune. I only made 343 on my VIII on a dynojet with GSC S1 cams, TBE (catless), 10.5 hotside, MBC, O2 housing, Ported ex manifold, IC pipes, Intake, walbro, and tune. Not bad at all.

Looks like Ivey is where I'm going. I want an AMS tune cause I'm running all AMS parts, but unfortunately Chicago is 12 hours away. AMS recommended Ivey and he's only 5 hours away.

Thanks for the good review, appreciated.

Game, Let us know if you need anything, the AMS parts are the best.

for the evo 10 not sure, working on that now, I think $450 would be reasonable.

I was looking at your numbers from your post about seans tune. They are very similar. I wonder if the test pipe was really worth it.our hp #'s were only 6 off, and our tq #s were about the same. from your list of mods, you have a panel filter, mine is a cone filter, you have a cat/ mine is cat delete, same exhaust, you have the UICP mine is factory.
Is there more power to be made with the UICP or test pipe?
