cosworth dyno on ix sean ivey

whats up guys just got back from tune by sean ivey at 1320

evo ix
dynojet

mods

apexi intake
cosworth cams
hallman mbc
fuel pump
rsr downpipe (catless)
fujitsubo catback very quiet

i put down 340 whp 346 tq i thought the # would be a little bit higher but sean ivey tuned and he know his stuff im not going to argue im pretty sure my catback is holding like 10hp back i just swap it with greddy ti which was to loud had that on my 8 threw it on my 9 just after a while just got annoying long trips anyways this was on 23-24 psi all on 93

what do you guys think i know alot of people are going to say # are low

good numbers for what mods u have

i put down 354hp and 365 tq with bolt ons on 93 pump and it was 98.9 degrees in the shop and i was out of fuel at 22 psi, now if thats not a good tuner then i dont know.......


i will be going back soon... with the right fuel mods and + mods too!

Well the car does pull nice I'm very happy sean ivey is a cool guy he did try to do 2 3 pulls more try to get more # but there was nothing I'm happy whatever

i have same catback, somtimes i regret it, but its a VERY good quality exhuast, oldest JDM exhaust maker's. it holds back 10hp but we can talk to people in our cars

those numbers look good to me...get a fmic and lower ic pipe, along with an o2 housing.

Sean surely did all he could with what you had, but unfortunately, he only had a few good mods to work with: the MBC and fuel pump. The rest of the mods are not so good, which is why you're making the power of an VIII with those mods. It's not like the car is slow, though. VIIIs would be very pleased with that much power on those mods.

I think the biggest problem is the cat-back, it has TWO restrictors which I feel takes away atleast 20hp. Well you can look at it in another way, he will not have any problem with cops and let me let you now his GreddyTi exhaust was LOUD I mean LOUD.
