cosworth dyno on ix sean ivey
no they are good for on average 10 whp and 15 wtq it seems throughout reading others dyno numbers and what not
figure average ix w/o cams puts out 330 whp I think it's fair to say the cams made a difference
my friend has them in his car and the thing I notice the most about them is the torque throughout the powerband

Sean surely did all he could with what you had, but unfortunately, he only had a few good mods to work with: the MBC and fuel pump. The rest of the mods are not so good, which is why you're making the power of an VIII with those mods. It's not like the car is slow, though. VIIIs would be very pleased with that much power on those mods.
Anyway, the Hallman MBC and Walbro fuel pump are both staples of the Evo community that are known to work and work well. The rest of those mods are iffy.
What I don't understand is why the OP is admitting that he knows the Fujitsubo robs 10whp (and then someone else later claims 20whp, haha) when a cat-back only gives 10-15whp to begin with. Why would you spend $800 on a cat-back to gain no power just for the sake of being "quiet" when you could just leave the stock cat-back on there? Inquiring minds want to know...
I also agree with Warrtalon about the exhaust part. There absolutely no point in spending 600+ dollars on a quiet exhaust system. I also keep the stock cat-back If you want something quiet. Either then that it be a waste of money to spend so much money on the cat-back and still knowning in your head its robbing power because its quiet.
I didn't say they were no good - maybe someone else did - but there have been plenty of disappointed customers. Buschur thinks even less of the only other 2 options out there - TurboTrix and GSC.
Can you verify that? I doubt that very much!
The only point to see what you gained is if you have dynoed the car before!
Now, for the two debating parts i can comment as i use them both!!!
Apexi Intake: Its a ***** to install, however i didn't see any cons, even when i was using it without even a flash! Its a dry type filter which is the best i think for our cars since there is no way to mess it up with excess oil and damage the MAF. Tests have shown that it has the best filtration!
Cosworth cams: Idle 99% like stock, difficult to say that you have cams on the car. Of course depends on the tune. On my car when i installed them i gained 12whp on the cams only and thats on a fully custom tuned car. No tricks like using an untuned car and then installing cams and tune and showing gains of 30-40whp! The car had a ceramic cat when installed and tuned the cams and a bad bov leak (greddy type-rs, which is crap and removed) and no fmic, ic piping, wg, o2 housing, randomtech cat, hyper ignition. These were installed after and of course retuned...
the only way to say that you gained, or nor with the cams is if you had a base run before the ca, install... maybe you started lower on the dyno...

Regardless its the OP's money and I feel its idiotic trying to rationalize his decision using our logic especially when its over car parts.
The power-curve looks good.
However, from a full 3 inch i went to another full 3 inch...
Our friend here went from a 3.15 inch exhaust to a 2.5-3-2.5-3-2.5-3 exhaust. I would expect quite a loss there. i don't know and i cannot tell if it is 10whp or less or even more, however the exhaust is less restrictive than the stocker but more restrictive than the Greddy...
i don't know how Sean's dyno reads, but this number should have been higher... I would check the car if everything is working properly and then dyno it again... wish we had a base run in order to compare...
