iPhone/iPod-touch OBD II datalogging?

iPhone/iPod-touch OBD II datalogging?

ANyone seen this:

I would buy an ipod touch tommorrow if I can get full evoscan looging on an iod touch

The Rev program is out for iphone now which can datalog a few parameters.

The Rev program looks interesting, but their price point is WAY off. The program is $49 and the wireless adapter is $229. For $95 you can buy the best scan tool that has all of the same functions, so the pricing seems way off to me.

The price point may be worth it to some for the wireless convience, I also believe they *may** have a wired version a little cheaper.

I'm thinking I would remove the ashtray, and build a mount for an Ipod-Touch

Ill wait til another developer comes out with the same program for free since i have a jailbroken iphone. Til then, i wont pay that kinda money

Why not ask Al since hes developing an "i-chip" , since hes a master on this with the iphone!!!

has anyone thought of using a psp to monitor the obd. it can be hooked up like a cobb accesport. dont now if there is anything to download for that

how bout for the G1 phone :-) I agree tho...the pricing is Way off...$299 I would get the wired one if it was cheaper too...i don't always trust wireless devices Anyway, i guess if it was pretty accurate it would be worth it.

I am a developer, and I am working on some IPhone integration, I will keep everyone posted, but don't expect anything great until spring time as I am extremely busy at work this time of year.
