i set the psi lower, and now the car jolts.... si this the computer correcting itself and preventing itself from overboosting?

 

define jolt..

During accelerating ?
shifting gear?
accelerate and then release pedal ?

harsh shifting ?

 

Start of accelaration, foot down and then chug chug chug... the intake is making the nrmal swosh noise but then it cuts down and swoshs angain and repeats until you hit around 22 psi. The engine isnt chuging it's the intake and the turbo by what i can hear.

 

surge, cut and go repeatedly ??

Are you in MAN mode or AUT mode ??
What is your gain ??

I would say this only happens in AUT mode as it tries to adjust boost response to get to your targetted boost the fastest way possible ..
It'll disappear once it decides it's learnt enough

If you're not in auto .. sorry can't help you .. limiter happens at higher boost .. not lower .. unless you're boosting so fast that you exceed the limits at lower rpms

Not easy to exceed the limits though .. unless you can get 26psi at 2400rpms

 

your right it is ony in auto mode.... i will give it a while before i worry and see if it learns... What do you think? Is it normal for the intake to make that noise? do you now what i should set my gain to if i want to boost at 24 psi?
