Anyone know if this is really in the works? If they could do a panel filter/intake map (maybe even with a different restrictor pill) that would be amazing. Call it stage 1.5 or something...
Clearly there are a lot of AP owners looking for these types of maps... will COBB come through?

Patience is a virtue. It's not like they just decided to abandon the idea. I sure would be put off by people asking me "is it done yet?" every 5 minutes at my job, that's for sure.

Yes, intake tunes are really in the works Originally Posted by YZRM1R6

The tunes take time with lots of testing. Please be patient. Thanks,

AEM please. Once you have a map for that I will be buying a AP, until then I am on the fence. No point in getting one until the correct map is available.
I can wait......I will keep an eye out for the AEM map to come.

what about the guys who have run dyno tests that say that an intake has very little effect on HP levels until the numbers are in the 400-500 hp range?

And these guys probably don't have a tune for the intake. Why would cobb waste their time and effort to make a map if it didn't help????

Do the cold air version of the AMS intake!!! ... (they have it listed @ a gain up to 54 awhp, is this possible?)

well I don't know.. I suppose that's why I asked the question lol. There have been a few guys who tuned cars and put intakes on, taken the air filter out completely, and done several other things and have gotten very little power gains... again.. that is why I am asking the question because the guys at Cobb know more than I and I would like their input.Originally Posted by THEMEMPHISFORCE

P0171 - Bank 1 too lean. That means the ECU has reached a point where it can no longer or is having trouble compensating with fuel trims for the intake. I would consider removing the intake until a tune is available. Originally Posted by Spazpilot

Thanks,
I am beginning to feel this way too. I was told that this won't damage the car, but maybe it is just in my head but my car doesn't feel the same as it did anymore. Who knows........Originally Posted by Rob@cobbtuning
