Oil catch can Install help!

yeap, I suck looking for info in these forums, thanks god i have you guys

so I just got a beautiful Cusco oil catch can 15mm and some braided hoses from summit racing parts to make a really nice install.

I can't find a single treat in the Evo X forms about how to install it.

I just read about the left one of the can entrances open to suck in air?

It sounds weird to me, but actually the box of the can comes with a similar setup
Only one hose is connected

Does anybody help me please?????

Not sure how it is on the X, but the basics of it is to take the line coming from the crankcase breather line, or the cam cover breather line, and put that into one side of the CC. Then the other side can either be vented to atmosphere (why you see one not connected in the pic on the box), or the other side can be connected to the line going to the intake. I'm not sure where the PCV valve is on the X, but if it's inline where you are putting the CC, make sure to tap into the line AFTER the PCV. You don't want boost going into places it shouldn't be going.

I would connect the other line to the one going to the intake because the vacuum helps to vent the crankcase (or cam cover). You also don't lose any metered air in the system(even though its a negligable amount).

Some people run dual CC setups, inline with both the crankcase and camcover breather lines. That's the optimal setup.

Picture where hose enters air intake past MAF. Either exhaust hose here or vent to air, also your choice.

I have the catch can installed already, just need to connect the hoses. I’m checking first how it beehives under vibration and heat for a couple of days
I’m taking pictures of the whole installation.
I’m going to post them and make a pdf for everybody.
