Exhaust - Welded vs Mandrel Bent

I am looking at the Ultimate Racing Dual Exit Catback. The thing is, it is tig welded at all turns and is not mandrel bent.

Is there a difference in performance, flow, or durability??

Thanks,
Gullie

You will be fine. There won't really be a difference in flow or performance. Durability is fine. The welds on that are not about to break.

Never paid for an expensive exhaust on any of my cars. I always made them myslef..just like you described. It works just as good. Never could justify throwing $500+ on some piping.

As long as they are tig welded and purged it will be perfectly smooth inside. I have the UR dp and tp on my car and the welds were very nice.

The straightest, mandrel bent piping usually flows best.
