So what has everyone pushed the rev limit to

i was thinking of turning mine up but not sure what to turn it up to
i have cosworth cams and springs

what do you guys think

 

That's a touchy question since if we tell you some have done 8000 and your car grenades an engine tomorrow you'll be mad. :P

I had mine set to 7800 and have bounced it a few times running the quarter mile without issue so far. It's not like I push it that high that often but so far it's been trouble free a few hundred higher than stock.

 

You're hitting the limiter trapping 110mph? 7800 in 4th should take you to 116.

 

I dont think he meant in 4th gear specifically, but in the other gears by not shifting soon enough.
