AccessPort Maps and Mileage

Was curious what everyone seems to be getting for MPG after getting any AP map flashed on their ECU.

Stock
ECON
Stage1+

Currently I'm getting between 18-~25MPG doing mixed highway/city or full highway driving and I'm rolling stock with just a K&N Drop-in Filter added.

EDIT:

The readout on the dash is deceiving me. During fillup I'm seeing about 18.5MPG even though I've seen 22MPG on the readout during majority of the driving.

mixed driving I got 18-19
highest I got with Stage 1 is 20mpg
This is calculating during fill up, not what the computer says.

try to reset the average mpg in the computer after fill up to get a more accurate reading.

with mixed driving, i get around 20mpg. if i tried, i could get up to 27mpg highway.

About 28+ while I am doing freeway, I go around 60-65 on highway commuting. around 20 local. My previous car was a 07 civic SI and it could hit 30mpg easy. I really have to try hard on evo to maintain a good mpg.

Of course a bad day of local driving when I hit red in every traffic light I can get like 15-16, but generally speaking it is not bad at all.

You can't trust the computer at all. I've kept track of my mileage since the day I bought the car, and the computer is always at least 2 mpg high.

FWIW, on a stock map w/ no mods, I got about 18.5 mpg over the first 8k miles.

On a straight drive from SoCal to Las Vegas, the DIC was spot on. Averaged 26.5 @ 70ish MPH, confirmed when I filled up.

Anyone have the AccessPort economy map? I'm wondering what you get for MPG and how much boost that map runs.

i don't understand why people are concerned with mpg in their evos. boggles my mind. the economy map is a cool idea from cobb but do you really want to drive around with super advanced timing and low boost just to save gas? seems to me that that person bought the wrong car.

to be on topic. stage 1 perrin off the shelf flash = 20-22mpg normal highway driving and 24-25mpg granny driving on the highway (no boosting). that is all from the little guesstimator in the MID.

I drive my Evo daily, and on a daily basis, I like having power on tap for whatever. With an AccessPort, I would run a normal map tuned for power any day of the week.

Sometimes I have to travel a little for work, and I also have a few road trips planned for this summer, and I will be driving my daily driven Evo. With luggage, my girlfriend, family, friends, coworkers or any combination of those in the car, I'm not going to be doing any highway pulls or canyon carving, so I won't be real worried about pushing full boost and putting down max horsepower. That's where a low boost economy map would benefit me.

I certainly didn't by an Evo because I'm real concerned about gas mileage, I love this car and what it's capable of, but what's wrong with trying to make a tank of gas last longer?

i don't feel that using the economy tune for a road trip will really produce dramatic increases in mpg. plus you'll want/need your power to get around the occasional jerk that doesn't want to be passed. if you just cruise you should make decent mileage with whatever tune you're already running but that's just my opinion.

You could be 100% right, but you don't know for sure and I don't know for sure. This is why I asked:
